Bowerchalke Barn Weddings at their Best with Rachel and Nathan.

What a truly amazing wedding day this was at Bowerchalke Barn just outside Salisbury. The morning started when I met up Team Rachel at a huge Air B&B in Salisbury, the flurry of activity was just great and the music was pumping so I instantly knew how this wedding was going to go! Whilst hair and makeup was happening the bridesmaids were finishing the final elements of the day. I must say the bridesmaids all looked amazing and we even managed to find time for a quick shot of them all. Once Rachel got into here dress, and what a dress, it all got a bit emotional with the first look for Dad and the girls taking the time to stop and appreciate all of the mornings hard work and what was about to come!

It was then a quick zoom from Salisbury down to Bowerchalke Barn avoiding the Chalke Valley History festival (Apparently its really good!!!) where I met up with Nathan and his team of intrepid Groomsmen, lots of hustle and bustle as it was all going to happen in 30 mins. First one coach arrived and then a second with so many friends and family members who all looked ready for a party!!

The lighting at Bowerchalke Barn for the ceremony is just gorgeous, big windows flood the area where Rachel and Nathan took their vows and after some lovely readings it was time for the confetti where I had to make some special lines to get everyone in but it worked well and the guests all did what was needed to make it such a fun and happy confetti line. Canapés, lots of drink and group shots all happened in the gap between the meal and we finished off with a whole bridal group photo, what a photogenic bunch they all were.

Lots of speeches, table shots and the meal all finished in no time so then it was time to enjoy the outside while some tables were cleared to make room for the dance floor. We managed to make best use of the golden hour with some more fun group shots of the bridal party and only a few repairs needed for some dresses and then it was cake cutting, big group shot and the first dance and then that was it, proper party time!!!

Bowerchalke Barn has come on a long way since I was first there a few years ago. A great team make sure everything runs like clock work, the views are stunning, walk down the lane into the field and you can catch the sunset. Bowerchalke Barn is just a gorgeous venue full of rustic charm with so many photo opportunities. The new canopy is brilliant and lets you get out of the sun for groups too!!!
