Heather and Alex - A Stunning Wiltshire countryside Wedding

A beautiful Wiltshire wedding all within a few miles of Salisbury. We started off the day with some prep photos, the house atmosphere was very calm and everything timed to precision to get Heather to the church on time.

The lovely church at Broadchalke has stunning stained glass windows and lots of natural light unlike some churches so provided a picturesque backdrop for the wedding ceremony. With the usual English weather, it decided to rain just as the ceremony ended so we postponed the confetti and sent everyone off to Burcombe manor while we did a few group shots at the church. It was then time to head off to the reception and a good time to speak about the wedding car! Alex and Heather decided not to hire a car for the day but buy one as it was more cost effective and what an investment!!! Also handy that Alex knows his way around cars and the mysteries that live under the bonnet!

The picturesque setting of Buncombe Manor offers a stunning backdrop for a wedding, with its enchanting gardens and elegant architecture. Nestled in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, the manor’s charm is enhanced by the marquee, which provides a seamless blend of the outdoors and indoor comfort.

Inside the marquee, the beautiful table layout showcases thoughtful details that elevate the dining experience. Each table is adorned with fresh floral arrangements that mirror the colors of the season, complemented by elegant tableware that adds a touch of sophistication. Soft lighting creates an inviting ambiance, while personalized place settings reflect the couple's unique story and style.

The overall atmosphere is one of warmth and celebration, where guests can enjoy a delightful meal surrounded by the beauty of nature and the carefully curated elements of the venue. At Buncombe Manor, every detail speaks to the couple’s vision, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.

As the meal concluded and joy filled the air, a surprising shift occurred—the rain that had lightly drizzled throughout the day began to subside. Guests gathered, ready to celebrate with colorful confetti in hand. Laughter erupted as the confetti line formed, a brilliant burst of color against the backdrop of a clearing sky. With the last drops of rain fading away, the couple emerged, smiles gleaming, surrounded by a delightful shower of confetti, capturing the pure love and excitement of the moment. This beautiful and spontaneous celebration was a testament to the day’s authentic and heartfelt emotions.

The wedding first dance began on the iconic black and white squares, creating a timeless backdrop for the couple’s intimate moment, swaying gently to a melody that resonated with their love story. As the music shifted to an upbeat rhythm, laughter filled the air, and friends and family joined them on the dance floor, showcasing their best moves and carefree spirits. The joyful atmosphere reached a crescendo when the bride, filled with excitement, turned to toss her bouquet. As it soared through the air, a flurry of eager hands reached out, vying for the blooms, capturing the essence of celebration that marked this unforgettable day.

Thank you, Heather and Alex, for being a super couple! What a gorgeous wedding day it was. From the heartfelt moments to the stunning backdrop, your love shone brilliantly throughout the entire celebration. Capturing the authentic joy and connection between you and your loved ones was a true honor. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together!
